If you are a traditional
country fan, you are going to love Di Anne's album cause she is all "down-home
country" like "fried taters, beans 'n' ham hocks, & chicken 'n' dumplin's"
and her voice is as sweet as "the smell of honeysuckle on the evenin'
air." There are no "cross-over" songs here, unless you want to consider
the difference between Traditional and Honky Tonk as a cross-over.
My favorite tunes are "Honky Tonk Man," "Should Have Known Better,"
"Your Eyes," "A Ring Where A Ring Used To Be," "Dr. Jim," "Let's Call It A Day
Today," & the title song, "Tainted Rose."
