Nashville's FoxFire Recording Artist, Di Anne Foxx, also know locally as "Di Anne!" has just signed an exclusive recording contract with FoxFire Records of Nashville, TN. The agreement included a $10,000 signing bonus and one of the company's Lincoln Limo's. Di Anne has just released her newest album entitled "Tainted Rose". This album includes Traditional Country, upbeat Country and even a "Save The Earth" tune written by Di Anne with music by Skip Easterling.

Di Anne also just returned from the CMAA King Eagle awards show hosted by Airplay International in Nashville, TN where she was presented with awards for Year 2001 "Entertainer Of The Year" and also for the award for "Songwriter". Also while at the awards show Col. Jason Hawkins of Airplay International presented Di Anne with certificates from the Governor's offices of both Kentucky and Tennessee making her an Honorary Colonel recognizing the work she does for the handicapped, elderly and also for our veterans!

Also in October in Las Vegas at the CMOA awards show, Di Anne was presented with the International Star Award, Year 2001, Country Division, Album Of The Year" for her newest release, Tainted Rose.

Di Anne is currently performing in various locations throughout the United States and in July of this year Di Anne! performed at the Performing Art Center in Auburn, Washington with Lacy J. Dalton.

NASHVILLE AWARD

Country music artist Di Anne, was recently nominated for the prestigious "Silver Artistic Trail Blazer" award. Award ceremony was held September 28, 29 and 30th in Nashville, Tennessee.

Di Anne was disappointed not to receive this award but was astounded when she was presented with the Airplay International King Eagle Award, Year 2000, Country Album Of The Year award for her CD entitled "Are You An Angel". This award was a radio voted award.

Di Anne, born in Poplarville, MS and raised in Picayune, MS was nominated by Airplay International's panel of judges after being submitted by independent disc jockeys who are members of the ICMA, following the release of her new CD entitled "Are You An Angel". The CD was released in January of this year. The release, written by Di Anne and 60's recording artist Skip Easterling, was recorded in Bogalusa, Louisiana and is on the current playlist of country music stations in France, Sweden, Denmark and other European stations. The award was presented by Colonel Jason Hawkins and Jeniffer Foxx of Airplay International, Nashville, Tennessee at the Eighth Annual King Eagle ICMA Awards, and Governor Sundquist of Tennessee, the Speaker Of The House, and the President of the Tennessee Senate joined together in issuing official proclamation declaring this event to be the "largest and most important independent music event in the history of Nashville."

Di Anne is currently performing in various locations throughout Mississippi and Louisiana and in recent years has preceded such stars as LeAnne Rimes, Sawyer Brown, Mark Chestnutt and Bryan White at the Franklinton Fair and Southern Festival Grounds respectively. BEST OF TEXAS AWARDS

Country music artist Di Anne, attended the Best Of Texas International Music Awards show in Beaumont, Texas on October 27, 28, and 29th. There she was presented with the "Best Of Texas, 2000, Most Promising Traditional Country Female Artist" award. This award was presented by Ambassador Charlie Ray, president of Nashville's Millennium Records.

Di Anne also entered into the international competition in the Entertainer category and also Vocalist category. Di Anne returned home to Picayune, Mississippi with the award for "Best Of Texas, 2000, Traditional Country Female Vocalist" award and with the "Best Of Texas, 2000, Traditional Country Entertainer Horizon" award.
